I’m Sarah, and this blog is about my adventures into all the things that make our house a happy home.

I live in the Middle Tennessee area with my husband and little boy. My interests tend to run in all directions – I have an undergraduate degree in Biology & Psychology and a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration (essentially for working on a college campus).  I have done a quick stint as an intern in a DNA lab and a longer run as an Academic Advisor at the local University. When the Little Man came along, I decided to stay home with him for a while (so far my “while” has been 3 years!). I’ve also dabbled in refinishing furniture and catering. Really, I’m all over the place, and I still don’t know what I’m going to be when I grow up!

I read somewhere that to have a successful blog, you really need to focus on only one thing and have one theme. Well, sorry, ain’t gonna happen. I will try to keep it to a minimum – I’m thinking cooking, decorating, and DIY (all the things keeping me busy these days), but no promises! I hope you will enjoy the posts I write and maybe even find some of them useful.
